eShareScan was born of a 35-year relationship with microfilm, Microfilm Imaging Services, a business founded by Curt Reiter, in Omaha Nebraska. In 2020, Curt founded a sister company, eShareScan. It was the natural step in a growing industry of preserving our cultural heritage through digitization. 

eShareScan is a US representative for book2net, a manufacturing company located in Bad Nauheim, Germany. We selected Book2net for it’s worldwide leadership in the digital scanner field. They have truly evolved the scanner of yesterday to what it is today, with innovations for over 60 years along with their parent company, MicroBox.

In late 2020, long-time Vice President, Jeremy Gaines purchased both companies and now leads the team in marketing the highest quality scanners available today.  The eShareScan team has deep knowledge and experience in the field of digital preservation.
